VigiaBr's Guild Hideout

This hideout was created for my friends, and at the request of the VigiaBr's guild (https://www.twitch.tv/vigiabr).

It's the result of some choices and votes from the members and a touch of my own. The chosen hideout was the Skeletal Hideout, and the theme was wild, nature and morbid.

I based it on some fantasy themes from Dark Elves and the Golgari and Sultai factions from MTG.

Today is the fourth day of creating this hideout, and during the process I joked around with the group creating a journal to, in addition to passing on status, create hype.

I had so much fun building the hideout as writing the fictional journal, and so as not to lose it, I'll leave them below.

Journal

Day 1:

I entered the old sealed enclosure. The smell here is unmistakable and causes spontaneous and immediate reactions in those who are not used to it. I need to divert my attention to something else, otherwise even I might start to feel the effects of these odors.

As I expected, the upper and lower right corners lead to an endless pit, and the walls are too far from my touch. "How did someone manage to put skulls and bones on those walls?"

The lower section follows the same pattern as the elevated central section. No different decoration or distinct flooring... I'll have to pay attention to that and appreciate the work of the ancestors who, for some reason, elevated the central section without giving it due prominence.

Now, these crumbling walls of bones and skulls... it will be a Herculean task to move all those bones... I'll have to live with them for now.

I heard that the leader of those who hired me has a penchant for the natural and wild... could something ritualistic, morbid, and druidic be his focus? I don't know... I'll take a chance on that path and see if I please my employers.

Day 2:

The Karui mercenaries I hired a few weeks ago to extract some rocks and ruins arrived today. Although they can carry those massive weights and items for hundreds of kilometers, what really impresses me is how they managed to get all of that through that tiny door.

I caught some of them talking in their native language and pretended not to understand them. They were celebrating the fact that I paid them 5 chaos each... I think it's best not to mention that we're in POE1 and not 2.

The decoration I put on the lower floor enhanced the elevated area, but in the wrong way. It worsened the overall appearance, and I'll have to readjust everything to something "more" instead of "less".

Some plants did well down here, but I'll certainly have to maintain a water source to irrigate them in the long term. It's strange to worry about life around here... but I think the old residents won't complain.

Finally, I still need to decide what to do with this bunch of NPCs, I mean, guests, and allocate them minimally in a way that makes sense (difficult to make sense when I don't know half of them... who is this old man who does nothing? Where's Zana? And those in red that I haven't even "found" yet?)

Day 3:

Activating the waypoint at the location sped up the delivery process for the Karui mercenaries, and so I could concentrate on sealing the old entrance.

These piles of stacked bones are giving me a headache... The Karui refuse to touch them, so I think I'll sweep them under the rug or hide them behind decorative panels... idk.

I created some points for reflection, thought, and admiration regarding some of the heroes of the past... in fact, I buried some handfuls of bones I found lying around as if they were notable people and named them...

The hub is interesting for my experience, but I don't know how today's exiles interact with the items... I heard about something called a market... in my day it was called a forum and a whisper, but times change and that's it.
